Cowgirls With A Cause is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. 100% of the proceeds benefit the prevention, early detection, follow-up screenings and treatment of breast cancer for those women who cannot afford these lifesaving services.
Description Cowgirls With A Cause began raising money for the Forsyth Medical Center Foundation in 2004. The money raised has been used to pay for mammograms and cancer treatments for women who could not afford them.
Throughout the history of the event, the cowgirls have received tremendous support from sponsors in the western lifestyle industry, corporations and individuals who have been touched by breast cancer.
Products CWAC hosts as all-women event featuring cowgirls barrel racing, breakaway roping and team roping each year in the fall to raise money for our cause. Money is raised through entry fees for competing in these events. No prize money is awarded. The cowgirls compete for awards made possible by benefactors large and small.
